The new website is finally finished.
We will be migrating to it this coming Monday 3/26/12. The website could be down for up to 24 hours while the migration occurs. I have tested it dozens of time but I am sure there will be a few bugs. Please be patient.
There will be lots to look at on the new website and some new items.
Yesterdays bench workout went great. Ended at a top set of 345×5 and even did some dips afterwards. Shoulders felt pretty good. Teale has a standard Super Katana on yesterday because her Extreme is being altered. She ended up with 245×3 after a ton of board work.
The wind here today has been crazy strong. I have lost the internet connection 6 or 8 times. It is hard to take care of a website and web business with no internet.
Teale benched in her Super Katana Extreme a couple of days ago and hit a 250×3 with ease. We pulled the front down a little more and she said the shirt felt like nothing she had ever felt before. She said she could feel the neckline taking the load and springing back. The 250 was powerful and smooth. I sent her shirt to Titan to get the arms tightened up as they were moving with each rep. She should get a lot more pop with the arms tightened. She should be able to try it again in less than 2 weeks.
Still no updates on prices or dates on the Super Katana Extreme.
Yesterday was my heavy squat day and today I can harldy move because I am so sore.
All I did was squat. It was a rough workout, belt only

Ball of Thunder – grip handle http://www.liftinglarge.com/thunderball.aspx
We got a huge order of singlets and socks so if you have been waiting for them. All size are in stock.
I completed my 2nd squat session of the week with the Russian 6 week routine. It was not too bad but I was still a little bit sore from Monday’s workout. ( sucks getting older). All sets were done off a box just a little below parallel. Paused but not relaxed.

Followed up with sumo deadlift 375 for 5 sets of 3 reps
I added a new product this morning. Liquid Grip is a fast drying liquid that works just like chalk on your hands but will stay on for your complete workout. Works great in those gyms that do not allow chalk. Used in many sports ( baseball, golf, football, rock climbing, gymnastics, bowling) Check it out here http://www.liftinglarge.com/liquidgrip.aspx
Socks and singlets are back in stock. Thanks for your patience.
Well I completed my first Russian squat workout cycle on Monday. Today my whole core and rib cage are very sore. It hurts to cough or laugh. Everything is sore, very sore. Teale and I went on a 5 mile bike ride yesterday evening. That did not go well and my quads were screaming from the first pedal stroke. The 2nd squat workout of the week will be this coming Friday
This is what I did in the workout on Monday

We finally got in our new wrap rollers. You can check them out here. http://www.liftinglarge.com/wraproller.aspx . I am very happy with the final version of this roller. We do offer school pricing on this rollers. Jsut email me at mike@liftinglarge.com
We should be getting our stock supply of Texas belts very soon. We will be stocking the Toro Bravo, Texas Longhorn and Texas Brahma belts in blue very shortly. No longer do you have to wait 4-6 weeks unless you want a specific color or skin.
Today I start the Russian 6 week squat cycle. I will be suing the Top squat for all my sets and a belt. No knee wraps. I did a max last week and did a 475 single. It was a little sad because not to many years ago I squatted 827lbs. i am guessing that I will rebound pretty quickly and should have a new max around 515 in 6 weeks.
Teale squattted 190×5 off the box and benched 180×5 this week as her top sets with only a belt. She did not get to put the Super Katana Extreme on this weekend as she was on-call and was working. We will get it back on her this week sometime and I will report the progress with it.
We just added 3 books and 1 DVD from Mark Rippetoe. These are all great read to help you figure out your form and routines for gettign stronger faster. We implement a lot of his ideas on our own gym all the time. Well worth the money. You can see them all here http://www.liftinglarge.com/instructionaldvdsbooks.aspx
We are expecting the first shipet nf the new wrap rollers this weekend and well as a monstorous Titan support sytems order. We will be getting a lot of singlets. Thank you to everyone that ahs been waiting for them.
Teale’s training is gonig great. She benched 180×5 raw yesterday and will most likely put on the Super Katana Extreme this weekend. I think we need to get the arms tightened up a bit.
Next week myself and a training partner will start a 6 week Russian squat cycle. 2 squat workouts a week. 1 on the box and 1 off the box. It looks grueling but it will be a good change. I will be using the Top Squat attachement so that I can squat with a regular bar. We got the workout from Spud and Dale at Spud Inc. Yesterday on bench day I finished with 330×5. It felt good. No shoulder pain. I sort of walk a slippery slope with my shoulders and benching. So far MY footing is solid. LOL
Titan Super Katana Extreme Bench Press Shirt – Teale Adelmann. First time using a Super Katana Extreme shirt. She had not been in a bench shirt in 6 months. The shirt logo is very low and no it is not a belly bench. email mike@liftinglarge.com to be notified when we have pricing and dates for the Super Katana Extreme. Also visit our Super Katana Extreme page http://www.liftinglarge.com/superkatanaextreme.aspx
Well I have been busy as usual taking orders and talking on the phone. I hired someone to work in the warehouse 20 hours a week to help me get more organized and make room for new product. I spend 90% of the day taking orders and shipping them so there is not much time to un pack and stock shelves let alone place orders and explore new products.
We do not have any new news on the Super Katana Extreme yet. Please send me an email to mike@liftinglarge.com if you want to be notified when we have pricing and dates. Teale will do some benching in hers on 3/3 and I will post some feedback.
The Top Squat has been selling like crazy. It is very popular with the older lifters that just do not have the shoulder flexibility anymore. I have actually started doing good mornings with it.
Teale benched 170×5 this week and pulled 400 in the suspended #5 kilo bands
Speaking of Kilo bands. By no fault of our own the Kilo Bands are pushed back until the first half of April. this is extremely frustrating to us to say the least. We will not be out of Kilo bands again. I will not let it happen. We have 300 bands coming and I am ordering 3000 more even before this order arrives. I again appologize for the delays
It is a beautiful day here in Rio Rancho, NM. Temperature is right at 60 degrees and the sun is out. Got a little yard work done in between phone calls and order processing. Rode the bike for a few miles also. Teale has us signed up for a 10 mile charity ride at the end of March. Not sure if my butt can last that long on the seat. I used to ride hundreds of miles a week in my 20′s but that was about 60 pounds ago. Did the seats get smaller over the years? LOL
I got the Omni massage roller added a few days ago. It is a great little massager to get those knots out before a workout. http://www.liftinglarge.com/omniroller.aspx
I added a chat feature on the website. There is a green button on the right hand column that say ” Chat” . It may be easier for some of you to get questions answered while you are shopping rather than waiting on an email response. We will give it a try for a month or so and see if it is valuable to you and to me.
Teale had a great squat workout of Friday. She worked up to 230×5 with no belt. She did speed bench yesterday with chains. My SI joint is acting up again so I could not squat but did lots of hamstring and lat work.
